Good Food and
a family atmosphere are the main attractions at this lovely village pub right
on the banks of the Fossdyke Canal. The
Sun Inn is also a lovely spot for a relaxing drink. A wide
range of beers is served – John Smiths, Guest Ales, Stella, Carling,
Guinness and a range of ciders. An extensive wine list is also
available.
News Flash Igor, who was the Head Chef at The Hume Arms at Torksey up to April 2008, has moved to The Sun Inn where you will find his renowned Sunday Carvery available between 12 noon and 8.00pm The restaurant is also open from Tuesday to Friday
from 12 noon to 2.30pm and 5pm and 9.00pm, and from 12 noon to 9pm on
Saturday where an extensive a la carte menu is available plus lunch specials.
Sunday Carvery is
available between 12 noon and 7pm. Reservations, although not necessary, are
recommended. Private parties can also be catered for. |
